3 More Smash Bros Characters Announced (SPOILERS)

The veteran Captain Falcon

First is the Fire Emblem character, Lucina (moveset looks like a Marth clone).

The other is also a Fire Emblem character, Robin.

Please be Shulk...
Seriously. It just makes sense!

Oh flip yes! He is my most wanted character.

Toad. Or Captain Toad. I'd be ok if it was either one. As long as Toad makes it in there.

Shulk. I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles recently, so that would a fantastic conikydink.

Other than Shulk....Bayonetta? Or Paper Mario.

@pikachudude860: All these choices seem to make sense to me. Paper Mario would be the choice I would go with.

What if it's Chrom, no love for Shulk.

Shulk. The Monado lends itself to some unique smash moves!

Or Reyn. So it could be Reyn time, all the time.

I'm guessing Ness or Captain Falcon. Unless they meant completely new character which I have no clue who it could be...

I'll be pissed if it is Shulk. I like him, but I've been wanting Issac from Golden Sun in this game for years and Shulk would probably ruin his chances to get in.

I think it's going to be Bayonetta.

Why would the sidekicks be in Smash instead of the Hero?

My only fear about smash brothers is that sore losers will bombard the winner with reports and get someone's miiverse account banned.

I am pretty sure it will be a "completely" new character. If it were the return of a veteran, my guess is they would not be hyping it that much.

Lucina and Robin (did not expect two characters) from Fire Emblem have been announced as playable characters.

Oh FFS, really? More Fire Emblem characters, this is ridiculous. Glad to see Captain Falcon is returning at least, but geez, we already had two fighters representing Fire Emblem, bringing in more is a real waste of slots, especially when one of them is just another generic sword fighter. That position could, and probably should, have been given to either Issac or Shulk to at least give some diversity in the games been represented.

The way the Smash Website has it set up, it seems that Lucina is a skin of Marth or something. They looked to have the exact same moveset honestly. I dunno how to justify both of them other than skins. Robin seems like the reveal to me.

I was hoping for Shulk. I'm on the fence if I want to finally get into the Smash series... Shulk would make it more enticing because he's one of my favorite Nintendo characters, his stage would be awesome, and I am dying to hear what music from Xenoblade he would have and how amazing it would sound in this game.

I still think we'll see Bayonetta at some point. Probably closer to the Bayonetta 2's release.

@Demonjoe93: I think your right. Bayonetta screams Smash Bros character. She's a perfect fit for the game.

Is Chrom an assist trophy or a playable character?

Kind of funny, I've always thought of Captain Falcon as a Smash character, more than anything.

There haven't been a ton of F Zero games, it's Smash he's most known for and he's been in every one.

Awesome. Loved the look of Lucina.

I'm really glad that Lucina and both male and female Robin made it in. I was really hoping that they'd make it in, and I somehow got my wish granted. I really was not expecting them to get in. I thought that after they revealed Ike as the 2nd FE rep that we'd get no more, and if they did decide to throw in one more for some reason, it would be Chrom.

And its about time they revealed Captain Falcon as well.

It seems he's not a playable character, and is just part of Robin's Final Smash. I kinda like how it has his critical cut-in from Awakening.

I like Lucina. Was probably gonna main Marth a good amount of the time, so I'll be using Lucina a lot as well.
