Who's giving up on the Wii?  The Wii has been out for about 5% ,or less, of its lifespan so wouldn't it be a little premature to give up on it?

I want whoever wants to give up on the Wii to do so just so I don't have to hear them complain.
I also hate having the same system as them, brings me down a notch.

I agree.  Ive been searching online for Wiicessories with little luck.  Remotes, Nunchucks ect are hard to come by (Bestbuy.com, Walmart.com Circuit City.com ect all sold out)  Wii is thriving.  And kicks butt as well.

I agree with 7 of those reasons. But I'm keeping my Wii regardless, just need to wait for the awesomeness.

The only complaints I have are the online (or lack thereof) and the complete and utter suckage of third party Wii games.

It's too bad Nintendo can't (or more likely won't) do anything about crummy 3rd party games.  It would be nice for them to tell 3rd party publishers that they will quit liscensing them if they don't start making good games, but I don't expect it to happen.  In a perfect world, Nintentdo would play all the 3rd party games before they were released, and not liscense them if they weren't good enough.  That's not going to happen, so it's up to consumers to stop buying crappy games, that's the only way to stop developers from making them.

True.  It's a shame that some developers (like a certain division of Ubisoft...)  are using the Wii's instant success as a means to get good sales out of a crappy game.  Look how many poor souls mistakenly bought Red Steel.
