didn't they mention sonething about this back at e3? buying 3D movies from the 3DS shop channel? did they mention anything about this today?

they didn't talk about it, but they never said the movies would be downloadable.

3D TV shows and Movies will be available for 3DS, but unsure of when it will be implemented.

They said at the EU conference they have done a deal with the company that makes Wallace and Grommet to make exclusive 3D cartoons for the 3DS, and they have done a deal with TV channel Eurosport to put 3D sport on the 3DS as well.

As far as North America goes, they will not have all of the Big Six. Deals have been made with Warner Bros, Walt Disney, Paramont & UniversalNBC. All Pokemon films & tv series will also be downloadable. 20th Century Fox is still pending.

So North America won't be getting as much content? Where did you confirm the movie information, I am eager to read up on it.

So far only Warner Bros., Disney and Dreamworks are confirmed in terms of movies. For Europe, Eurosport and Sky will provide 3D content, not sure what though.

Movies will be avaiable for rent & purchase. All 3D movies will be on the Nintendo E-Shop.

What do you mean by North America?? If all they are selling is 3D material, it means the options will be limited. How many 3D movies exist is the question? Of course everyone will get Avatar & DisneyPixar movies will do well.
