3DS Friend Code(s)?

When you register a friend's code, will you have to reenter it for every game, as with the Wii? Or can you play any game with that friend with the one code.

Im pretty sure it works for all games and you dont need to reenter it every time

It's a universal friend code.

Once you enter your friends 3DS friend code, thats it.
