3DS Game Ideas

What are some ideas for 3DS games that you have?

Ace Combat style

Fine, SSB in 3D or a revival to the Spyro series.

A 3D puzzle game. One that uses the 3D well.

NEW legend of zelda game

NEW star fox game

new metroid(first person), with complete (at least 8 player onlinemultiplayer)

new smash bros

new super mario game(as in like super mario 64 and galaxy)

new pikmin

A remake of Wario Land on the virtual boy. only this time done proper on a proper handheld.

Also for a new IP:

An RPG based on 3D perspective and head tracking.

I personally want Nintendo to come out with something NEW for a change. Not just another Mario,Zelda,Metroid,Pokemon,Donkey Kong etc. And when I say something new, I mean something that isnt dumb and has casual gamer famaily fun written all over it (ex. Wii Fit, Wii music , Nintendogs). Come out with a new iconic character to add to their line up and a new story for the game. (not another princess rescuse story.......please)

And as much of a zelda fan i am, if they come out with another zelda game on here that is anything like PH or ST on the original DS, i definately wont buy the game

Wouldn't mind seeing one of those old type plane games that shoots bullets at enemy planes and subs and stuff. ( I think they're called scroller shooters or something )

I want to see a new spyro game, new kirby game (with an actualy storyline), some sort of SRPG.

Star Fox 64 and zelda in 3d I personally would love to have them.

I personally would like to see some of the 3DS games to be playable on the regular DS. They would of course be downgraded a little bit but not much. If you remember the Game Boy era, some of the games intended for the Game Boy Color would also work on the regular Game Boy. The same thing would apply here. The 3DS game cards usually has this piece of plastic inside them that basically prevents the insertion to the regular DS. These games would simply abandon this piece. What do you think about this. As for the games themselves, I would like to have a Super Mario Galaxy-like game for the system. It would be interesting to see Mario soar across the cosmos in 3D!

To the people saying new ips, new ips. Nintendo has more then Sony or M$ this gen. I would like to see a fire emblem game that isn't a remake

nintendo should create another earthbound game, thatd be fun, also zelda, donkey kong, final fantasy, super mario, ssb, kirby, yoshi, banjo kazooie, conkurs bad fur day,metroid, mario kart, ratchet and clank, jak and dex, sonicand a brand new game that nintendo would make:D

i so agree with you, when i bought the DS. i thougth that we finally got rid of the 2D crap zelda's etc. That we finally would get like on the n64 3D games or maybe even new zelda's etc.

But instead they just simple made money throught games like that, which i dislike to the max.

everythign on the 3DS should be in full 3D for me to buy it. and not a 2D game that got a few extra layers behind it to generate the 3D effect. I want a full 3D game.

about banjoo kazooie, isn't that company taken over by microsoft? there is a version of it on the xbox 360 i beleave. which is total garbage to start with.

the n64 first version was great tho. I dont think we will ever see another banjoo running on the nintendo handhelds/consoles.

How about a 3- d port of the first Silent Hill? I've never played it and would love to get a chance. Plus, with updated graphics and 3- d- ness, imagine the potential fright factor.

It would actually be a [potentially] massive downgrade.

You see the Game Boy Color ran on almost the same hardware as the original Game Boy. Just with the CPU's clockspeed almost doubled and RAM quadrupled. Interestedly the DSi has exactly these same enhancements compared to the DS. However the 3DS is running on completely new hardware. While we don't have the exact specs for it yet, its Pica200 graphics core can push at least fifty times more polygons. So it would be more like having a GB Advance game that is playable on the original Game Boy.

That aint gona happen at all, unless the 3DS gamecard has a compleet different game next to it. its like playing ps3 games on a ps1, not gona work.

example: ( we take the slowest pica 200 gpu, and try to compare it towards a DS ) nobody knows how fast yet the gpu is.

Vertex Performance = ( triangles per second ) 3DS = 30.600.000 "slowest gpu that they got is this fast already" while the DS = 120.000.

Fillrate = ( pixel per second ) 3DS = 1.600.000.000 (1,6 billion) while the DS = 30.000.000 ( 30 million ) "again slowest pica gpu, can be much higher".

as you see the Vertex Performance = 255x faster then the normal DS

And the Fillrate = 53,33x as fast as the normal DS.

In other words there is no possible way of a 3DS game not function for the normal DS, unless its a DS game basicly. Which nobody buys to start with as 3DS title.

Super Mario Sunshine remake and Super Smash Bros 3DS.
