Honestly TC if u care about graphics more than the games themselves then just buy a PSVita. When it comes to handhelds just throw ur graphical desires out the window. U seem to have a decent gaming PC...why not just use tht to fulfill ur graphica needs? Anyway to answer ur question...

DS

3DS

Way better. Graphics aren't everything though.

I look inside the game rather than judging from the outside.

Its not as sharp as i would like, but there are no games even beginning to touch the hardware limits yet ( i hope...)

So far the graphics seem to be atlease 2 times better then the ds, The trailer for super mario is quite impressive, you should check that out.

Check this out. This should answer the graphic debate.

The graphics are PSP level or above. It's like the DS and PSP had a baby.

DS is a little below N64, 3DS is roughly GameCube level.

Closer to the Wii, actually. In fact the 3DS has way better shaders.

Basically what I was going to say. For the moment, most games are Gamecube quality, but it'll probably exceed the Wii as we get further into its lifespan.

actualy it's way more powerful than the wii. The 3ds prodoces 2 images to see stuff in 3d thus needing 2x the power of the system.
