So I'm movign to Germany for a year. Bought my 3DS in the USA. Will my 3DS be able to use the eshop there? How does that work? I know I won't be able to buy cartridge games because of the region lock.

If any one is privy, please let me know!

Im from South America, and my 3ds is from usa but i dont have any problem getting into the eshop of North America, i downloaded a bunch of free stuff, you will be fine.

P.D.: of what you would have to be carefull is about the voltage used there in Germany (eg in North America the voltage is 110, but here is 220, so if i pluged my USA 3ds to charge it here it would have probably burned or not be albe to charge it at all). You will need some kind of voltage converter (i dont know the voltage used there).
