3DS: Rumored, Unconfirmed releases...

Wondering if any of you guys would indulge me by sharing any news you have of rumored (and preferably) firsty-party or subsidiary developed titles?

I think it's fairly obvious to assume we'll see a legitimate Pokemon title released sometime next year but other than that...

Possible upcoming titles? Well there is always the Smash Bros game that is said to be starting development soon. Then there's that new Zelda. Both have been said to be starting production but no official announcement has really been made.

Other than that, I really think there will be a new Metroid title for the 3DS, specifically a 2D Metroid that uses the 3D for depth between backgrounds.

I'd also like to imagine that the Ambassador program games are serving as a way to get new audience members for specific games. Could we be seeing a new F-Zero on the 3DS or possibly a 3DS Fire Emblem?

My cat told me that Final Fantasy VII is coming to the 3DS next year. He says the in game graphics will be better than the FFVII PS3 Tech Demo, the entire soundtrack is been recorded by a live Orchestra and that the entire game will be voiced and that most of the cast of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be returning to there roles. He also says they are considering fixing the spelling and grammar errors from the original version for the remakes script, but do think it would be more authentic/amusing to have the characters say the lines incorrectly.

Looking at all the joke comments I guess there aren't many new rumors... but there was a new 3DS game rumor a few months ago. It's been confirmed as fake, but it's still a good rumor anyway:

Mach Rider: Unchained

"The game looks like a racing-brawler and is way darker-looking than normal Nintendo fare. Will be released in 2012 and takes place in the year 2112. Has a very gritty look and is easily the most visually impressive game I've seen running on the 3DS hardware. Even though its fake I'd love to see Retro develop something like that, and they just finished designing some Mario Kart 7 tracks so they'd be able to handle making a game like this.

Actually, there is a rumor going around about either "Dragon Quest VII or Final Fantasy VII" getting a remake for the 3DS. It comes from the same source that first leaked the announcement of Monster Hunter 3G.

Anyways, about the "rumor" of Smash Bros 3D, that is not a rumor at all. They announced at E3 that after Kid Icarus, Sakurai will begin on Smash Bros titles for both the Wii U and 3DS. He also said afterwards, though, that if he doesn't get a bigger team than he had for Brawl, it could take up to five years. -_-
