3DS Servers down?

Hey, I was wondering, did anyone have any issues with signing online for their 3DS? My 3DS won't sign me in on my friend's list, and when I tried to log on to RE: R for some RAID mode, it wouldn't let me on as well. I kept receiving an error message saying "Couldn't connect to server." The funny thing is, I can connect to the eShop, I'm going to see if any other 3DS game will connect online, but this is very unusual. I don't know if this is just Nintendo's Online network not working, but I think RE: R also uses Capcom's own service, or maybe it doens't. I am not too sure, regardless it's a bit disappointing I'll have to play some Raid solo mode instead. :(

Well, when I first opened my 3DS and went to update the firmware it was giving me errors with the connection. I thought it was my stupid modem's wi-fi screwing around because I have the same problems with my Android device whenever I connect to it from time to time. Few days later it downloaded fine. So my guess is that their servers do have hiccups. As long as it doesn't affect game start-up then it's no biggie for me.
