The problem is all the third party accessories that are wireless are too afraid or lazy to use bluetooth. They either use via USB or infared which sucks.
If they are gonna do a headset please make multiple versions. They should do a wired headset for the really cheap asses. They should do a USB for the moderately and realistic. And then there are people like me who cant use anymore USB cause they are all taken up. SO I ask please make a bluetooth, if nintendo will ever grow the balls to actually allow voice chatting.
It wouldn't work without changing the Wii firmware to support it, and Nintendo controls the Wii firmware.aransomThat's about all there is to it, it's all really in the capable hands of Nintendo.
Nintendo needs to make one themselves or it won't happen, and if it doesn't happen, then Nintendo might die. It'll happen eventually.ArkthemaniacCome on! Nintendo isn't going to go out of business if they don't make a headset. It's only anecdotal evidence, but I can tell from all the, "when is the Wii going to get a headset?" threads, that plenty of people were willing to buy a Wii without a headset.

[QUOTE="Cyber-"]They arre not going to die but its really lame they have not listened to the millions of people who want online play.aransomIs it really millions of people clamoring for a headset, or is it thousands of people saying it over and over?
Well maybe thats a little bold for me to say. My point is I have never even heard of one rrespectable gamer who would not want a headset. If they made one the floodgates would open for so many more possiblities.
[QUOTE="Cyber-"]Like the possibility of being cussed at by twelve-year-old losers? If they made one the floodgates would open for so many more possiblities.
aransom
Yes the over used tactic by the few people against it. Is there not pros and cons to every aspect of online modes? Think aboutthe tactical advatages to using the headset eps when talking usually involves your friends anyways and you can also mute those other people. It doesnt really work to use a wild general criticism that doesnt really apply to most people who use voice chat. To play MoH: H2 with my friends I used to use the 360 headset btu we found that the DS actually has better quality so now we have to bootleg just to talk online. When we play we do really well with a head set and we can set up strategies like one voers the other with the sniper and I raid in there with a shotgun.
wont happen. a hardware company like nyko wont risk the chance of their hardware flopping since it will take a long time for a devoloper to make a game for it. itll probably be to expensive for a devloper as well. plus nintendo wont let anyone use bluetooth yet. not to mention there really isnt alot of 3rd party accesories only wiimote covers and sword shells dinofan01
headsets are not very expensive. If anything Nintendo will be the first to make a headset and it will probably be the best one esp if its bluetooth. If other companies are gonna make one they can amke different versions. Bluetooth may be expensive but many people like it. If anything they could rack up the price. Also I dont think Nintendo can control what other people use for Bluetooth.
