Supposedly, in 2 days they're having a Nintendo Conference. Everyone's expecting a huge announcement, cause Reggie said in an interview, "before the end of September", they'll be a few new surprises.

Whatever it is, it won't be much.

Why? Cuz I know what to expect from Nintendo in conferences. lol. Isn't everybody use to that already?

too much hype for goodness sakes.....please, take it easy and dont think about it too much. we will be dissapointed if we continue to do this. so, to change discussion......the wii is a great system, isnt it?batsy4life

Amen. We definately will be disappointed by the "announcements" Nintendo will make - we always are. They will probably just talk about how great their console is and how much money they are making like usual... oh, and probably introduce us to a new casual game that will "change the way people view video games"! :P

I'm more excited about SEGA's event. They've been doing some good things on the Wii, and they need to be noticed. Super Monkey Ball and Sonic stand as two of the top 15 or 20 Wii titles. NiGHTS, Ghost Squad, and Mario and Sonic are all shaping up to be above-average titles.

I'm hoping we get another exclusive Sonic game, rather than just a Riders sequel.

First off Reggie never said to be ready for the suprise of a life time. He jsut said expect somthing new stop over hyping and just hope for the best. My thought is probally a new wii channelDVF44

I never get excited about nintendo's conferences. They are usually a letdown and having my hopes low doesn't allow it to be shattered, and if it's really awesome, it makes it that much better.

I dont think Nintendo appears at TGS so something big could happen, but I wont get my hopes up. I just hope its not casual mini games god I hate those.

I am a little off on this, who announced a Nintendo Press Conference/Announcement in 2 days? Where the hell did that come from? I know Reggie said there will be some other things to be revealed by this month, but does that still exist? Anything is possible. If it is anything, I bet they will be adding new consoles to the Virtual Console support or something like that

Nintendo Wii runs games at a steady 60FPS. The most shocking thing Nintendo can do is send out a firmware update that allows Wii gamers to play Wii games in 1080i and 1080p at a "28-40" FPS, lower framerate but higher resolution, which the Wii is probably capable of doing easily. It would not benefit many people probably, but it would be a shocking update.

Most likely, it will be a new Mii channel, and some new consoles added to VC.

Nintendo is holding a press Junket Before the TGS to show off what they and third partys have coming for the Wii and DS for Q4 (Oct.-Dec.), Thought Nintendo Never actually goes to TGS.

Alot of People are Expecting Brawl to be Playabe at this thing, and Reggie's "Surpise" to be the Annoucemrnt of a New Third Party Character.

But i would not really give my hope's up.

At least I know we will get new iPods coming Wednesday...
