480p GC games on Wii?

I know a couple of game cube games do progressive scan so i was wondering does it work with the wii?

I have about 50 gamecube games and I have experimented with a lot of them (to see if the Wii enhancing them at all) and what I can tell you is that the Wii does enhance the visual effects of some games. Some games look sharper and just plain better then the gamecube. WWE Day of Reckoning 2 looks way better on the Wii vs playing it on the cube. Some games you really can't notice much differences, others you can notice a lot. Gamecube games that are 480p compabatible will work on the Wii in that mode.

u can make ALL gc games run in 480p when playing them on Wii

Games that could run in progressive scan on the GC will prompt you to ask if you want to run them in progressive scan on the Wii, once you have the Wii component cable.

oh 480p is so advancded look at the 360 you can go up to 1080p !!!!!!!! way better.

Yeah, at the cost of a 360 Elite, and a 1080p compatible HDTV with an HDMI port, and those run above $1.5k.

Yes you have to hold B down when you start the GC game to enable it just like you would on the GC.

Some of my GameCube games do look clearer. One game I have that shows this was Mario Power Tennis.
