Which Wii videogame do you think will beat the current 9.1 record at gamespot.
I think it will be Metroid Prime:3, or SSBB.

I would say MP3 or SMg. SSB, probably not. SSB games have yet to hit 9 (SSBM got 8.9 so it could be possible. You forget though, that GS is going to get a new rating system so games are either going to get 9.0 or 9.5. No game will ever tie RE4 again. It would be either better or worse, according to the new rating system. nintendofreak_2
Now we can just focus on which Wii game will hit 9.5 or 10.0 first. I'd guess Metroid Prime 3.
MP3 if it has online, since that seems to get teh Gamespots off. They'll probably complain about it not having online the entire review if it doesn't, ala the Virtual Fighter PS3 review.NECR0CHILD313
I really hope Gamespot isn't as online horny about Metroid Prime 3 as everyone else is. Metroid Prime:Hunters exists for the purposes of pleasing those who want an online Metroid game. The thing is, for those of us wanting a decent single player Metroid game, Hunters was incredibly disappointing. Metroid didn't originate as a first person shooter. It just became that way as a way of transfering the franchise from 2D to 3D. I'd much rather pay for a full single player game then a tacked on single player game with a multiplayer mode when it comes to Metroid.

So... in other words, their rating system will be even less reliable than it is now? How does that make any sense? Basically wouldn't that mean they would run out of scores if no games can have the same score? Or do you mean they will only rate by .5's now? I think they should just leave it the way it is to keep it more accurate, or at least rate like IGN where they rate it based of graphics, gameplay, etc and then rate it by how fun the game is rather than averaging stuff out. If a game has messy graphics but it is the most fun game ever it really shouldn't lose alot of points.
Anyways, didn't the last Metroid Prime score lower than the first? If that is the case then I bet this will score even lower unless it is very atmospheric and the controls are flawless. Super Smash Bros. might but I doubt it for some reason. Super Mario Galaxy has the best chance out of the "Big 3" IMO only because it seems the most innovative and fun and its Mario, though Sunshine did get like an 8.8 or something. Out of all the upcoming Wii games though, I would have to say that that there aren't any that I can see that Gamespot would rate higher. Maybe RE:UC or NiGHTS or BWii?
