Hudson has announced that two TG-16 games will be released on the VC this Monday. They are Cho Aniki and Final Soldier. Discuss.

Perhaps I should. But suffice it to say I'm happy with SMRPG being out. I'll let the reviewers decided if these games are good or not. I don't part with money easily.

I still have that game for my N64. I didn't like it very much...

But the multiplayer was AWESOME!!

But not on the TG16.

Well sMRPG was suppose to come along time ago same with Earthbound. They have been ESRB rated for forever i havent heard one thing about DK64??? not even esrb rated yea so u think its comin out okayyy have fun waiting

The turbografx was known mostly for the shmups. However, people should download Neutopia or Ys 1 & 2.

I might get Final Soldier. I want all the Star Soldier games except the Wiiware game. I would get Star Soldier R if it was like Soldier Blade. I only have Soldier Blade. I need to get Super Star Soldier and Blazing Lasers.

Cho Aniki is too much weird for me with its big guys with big muscles and they are half-naked.

When Rare and Nintendo split, Nintendo gained exclusive rights to the games with Nintendo characters and Rare gained exclusive rights to the game with Rare characters.

That is why we have all three Donkey Kong Country games. DK64 may never come because it's difficult to emulate the N64's expansion pack. But it still has the possibility of coming.

Yea i have Super Star Soldier great game tho but if ur not really good at shmups ur going to have trouples. Because if u die u have to start the whole level over again which gets annoying when u have ur mess ups. But it also includes the 2 and 5 minute modes like Soldier blade. Blazing Lazers on the other hand i heard is one of the easiest of the Soldier series. And it lacks the 2 and 5 minute modes which i dont like cuz it one my favorite part to play. But Blazing Lazer is still a really good game if ur new to shmups get that one. And a few other shmups u should look at is Star Parodier another soldier game they say its on of the best its a import so it goes for 900 points. And other good shooters would be GoT & LoT

Like its been mentioned, the Expansion pack was required for DK64 and Majora's Mask. That's probably a good reason why they've yet to make it to the VC. I would love for Earthbound to come onto the VC, because its a title well worth paying for.

I can't believe so many people here aren't aware of Cho Aniki, Admittedly the one coming to VC is an early title in the series, which got progressively weirder and ....... manlier. Its still a damn good shmup, I'm tired of people calling things crap because they never heard of them. I remember when River City Ransom came up and people dismissed it as crap. Snot nosed brats.

This is great, it's probably the first week that I actually don't care about the VC. A bad week does not bother me anymore.

Question about the N64 expansion pack: was it a RAM expansion or a ROM expansion? And would this make a difference in the game size (megabytes)?dmil1991

It's a RAM expansion. It added 4MB of RAM, doubling the N64's RAM.

It doesn't effect game size, although the games that use it (DK64 and Majora's Mask) will be bigger than most N64 games. All N64 games are under 64MB though.

Thanks. Maybe Nintendo could support this through a firmware update in order to emulate the increased RAM size. I'm still surprised none of the late-N64 games have released - maybe VC game #300?
