I need a great First Person Shooter for the Wii, or at least an adventurous action packed game. My mom won't let me get Resident Evil 4 because of the guy with the bag over his head and the chainsaw. :( I have Red Steel and Call of Duty 3- what else is there that I can have thats action packed and exciting (hopefully a FPS) doesn't have to be.
So wait, your mom is fine with you experiencing the horrors of World War 2, but not the horror of stopping a cult from kidnapping the president's daughter?

And there aren't any good shooters for the Wii yet, that you'd be allowed to play (I would have recommended Godfather, but your mom probably wouldn't like you throwing policemen off of rooftops and pushing enemy gang members into giant ovens.)

There's not many shooters out now, but metroid prime 3 comes out next month and it's suppoused to be one of the best shooters this year
Super Paper Mario is a good adventure game. I'm sure your mom won't have any problems dealing with the violence that comes packaged when fat Italian plumbers stomp on the heads of goombas....right?

Trauma center is fun, but I suggest you go to the recomendation thread. There is a good number of games coming out in Q4 (september to december). You could also check out the upcoming game thread in the read before poting thread. It should give you some ideas

Anyhow, yeah, I would hold off until Metroid at the end of August. But if you can afford two games, and your mom would allow you to get Godfather, I'd highly recommend that, but if not, then you could pick up Medal of Honor Vanguard or Far Cry Vengeance. Far Cry is terrible, as far as AI and graphics go, but the controls are pretty good, so you might get some enjoyment out of it.
you just need to look ahead and ignore the present. the next medal of honor might be good since it will work with the zapper. i bet that means melees will be awesome.
i'm realy going to have to add to the long list of people suggesting metriod though. its the closest to being released, its an fps and an adventure, and its supposed to be amazing. ign says it may handle better than any fps ever.

me niether, but i wouldn't worry about that. its still supposed to be amazing. i'm sure the story line wont be that important. besides, with a wii, you can play 1 and 2 so long as you have a gcn controller and memory card
You didn't play the original Zelda before you played Twilight Princess. You don't need to wait and play Metroid Prime 1 and 2 (which are far from being the first metroid games).
Wait a month for MP3. If you can afford to get two games in that time, Alien Syndrome comes out next week. Or Strikers comes out the week after and has online playing.

Vanguard is a blast, but it's over way to quickly. COD 3 is trash. Even on 360/ps3 it's not very good. Very derivitive game if you ask me. I liked far cry, because of the controls, not the bugs.
