my wii is on top of my tv ummm but i think it would be more of a hassle to use. you'd have to keep switching between the remote and the keyboard. seems like a meh idea.

The system already supports any old USB keyboard (as of the last major FW update). No need for Nintendo to make their own device.

Eh, you're probably right. I mean we have "official SD cards" afterall.

Still, as with the cards, there'd be no actual "need" to for it. It's just that those ignorant on the subject won't know any better.

Wonder if they'd ever make one like mine. I took a USB keyboard, the ergonomic one from Microsoft, I erased the logo from it and screen printed a Pikachu and NINTEDO logo onto that area. I will take a picture when I get home. Man, I did that about 2 years ago or so.

If Nintendo does, it would work better for it to plug into the Wii Remote rather than the back of the Wii, for simplicities sake.

They should just make a bluetooth compatible keyboard. That way I could just use it for my Wii, PS3 and PC... whatever's on.

Or you could just use a Wireless USB keyboard (almost all are designed to use the same generic drivers as their wired counterparts). Or... or so I've heard (can't confirm)... a logitech BT keyboard.
