A question about spirit tracks?

SOOO let me get this straight....the link in ST IS THE SON OF THE LINK FORM WW????? WTH!!!!!! When i saw Niko all old i thought to myself WTH!?!?!?!? Then Alfonzo came in and he was all young so....does that mean Alfonzo is the so of the one in WW???? WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON!!!!!! IS LINK IN SPIRIT TRACKS THE LINK FORM WIND WAKER OR WHAT?!?!?!?

The Zelda storyline has never made much sense, or been known for its continuity. Try not to worry yourself over it! D:

It is very likely that each person that will answer this topic will come up with a different family tree, but to me it is quite clear that the Zelda shown in this game is the granddaughter of Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass' Tetra, since all the Princesses are connected via a blood line. As for the Link I believe he is just a regular boy, and not connected to any of the previous games characters, basically - like all Links on the Zelda games - he is the reincarnation of the hero.

That is my theory at least.

And he lives with Niko, I guess. I think he trained him to ride trains! (Pun intended)!

Also, when you go visit him later in the game, Niko says (Not exact quote), "Yo, homie G. What's with your green soldier costume, son? It reminds me of my old boy back in da day."

And with Alfonso, I am not sure.

And... SORRY.. it slipped my mind that Link could just be a random kid chosen to be the next hero. Either way, doesn't matter. Zelda is the granddaughter of Tetra, that much is certain.

They're definitely related; anyone else notice Tetra's picture in the stained glass above Zelda's throne at the beginning of the game?
