There's no penatly if you lose a battle if you're the one invading. You don't get as much experience from the battle, but that's about it.
I haven't played this game in a while but isn't there an option to quit?OreoMilkshakeIm not sure, but when I tried not to battle illusio and battle terrera instead I didnt have the 'battle' option, only info about the castle =\
Oh, so if I battle illusio and lose I can challenege terrera afterwards? I dont mind losing, if that means I can battle the other castle and win there~There's no penatly if you lose a battle if you're the one invading. You don't get as much experience from the battle, but that's about it.

The only time you will get penalized for losing is if one of your territories are being invaded. If you lose that battle, you lose the territory and potentially might be forced to send some warriors away. But in the main campaign you won't ever be invaded, so you won't have to worry about that.
