A SSBB Demo would be a great way to introuce a demo channel!

Nintendo really should have a demo and trailer channel on the Wii. What better a way to introduce one than a Super Smash Bros Brawl demo? It could have 4 characters (Mario, Pikachu, Kirby, and maybe Pit or Link) on one of the stages we have already seen. It would be offline of course....but it would give a nice little taste of the game.

I think there might be a Demo Channel coming out for Wii, and yes that would be quite cool. It would get me warmed up for some ownage i will have on my mates when this comes out. ;)

Meh, I'd rather wait till I get the full Smash Bros. experience, but you're right, as a marketing tool, it would be a good idea.

Yeah it would be cool. Unless nintendo screws it up by making u pay for it. They should do what MS is: free demos. Hope they dont as long as Xbox 360 when downloading 0_o1%= 10mins.

I'll like to have it but not with SSBB it would ruin the experience when you play the real game

While a demo channel is a good idea having the Smash Bros game as the main attraction isn't.

People either love having Nintendo characters and others fight or they hate the shallow fighter. There's not much in between there.

What they should have are games that make people try new genres. Like having Big Brain Academy in the demo form is a good idea, maybe a few of the Mario Party games too. An inning of the Bigs. That sort of game.

Big names that don't have much past the main mechanic like Smash Bros doesn't exactly do much then speak directly to the people already planning on buying the game. What a demo channel is used for is to make new sales. I don't see that happening just from playing a fight or two.

That would be good. I don't see how that would not work. If someone wasn't too sure of buying ssbb and they played a limited demo and it was great it could probably

The wii is going to need more memory if it is going to hold a few demos, vc games, and channel/save game data. 512mb is not enough.

this would really suck, but i think if they did have a demo channel, you couldnt dowload them, u would dowload it, and when you turn off your wii the demo is deleted

It's a great idea for Nintendo to have demos. The only problem with your plan is waiting until SSBB is ready for a demo when they should've been cranking out demos like yesterday.

I think we will all own Brawl before any demo service is released... It would be nice though. It's what I love about Xbox live, even if your bored with all your games you can still go on Live and check out the new demos...for FREE! Nintendo would be foolish not to create such a sweet service.

A demo channel is impossible until they release an external hard drive.
