Meh, I'd rather wait till I get the full Smash Bros. experience, but you're right, as a marketing tool, it would be a good idea.
While a demo channel is a good idea having the Smash Bros game as the main attraction isn't.
People either love having Nintendo characters and others fight or they hate the shallow fighter. There's not much in between there.
What they should have are games that make people try new genres. Like having Big Brain Academy in the demo form is a good idea, maybe a few of the Mario Party games too. An inning of the Bigs. That sort of game.
Big names that don't have much past the main mechanic like Smash Bros doesn't exactly do much then speak directly to the people already planning on buying the game. What a demo channel is used for is to make new sales. I don't see that happening just from playing a fight or two.
The wii is going to need more memory if it is going to hold a few demos, vc games, and channel/save game data. 512mb is not enough.Maskedgamer1
this would really suck, but i think if they did have a demo channel, you couldnt dowload them, u would dowload it, and when you turn off your wii the demo is deleted
