Hello everyone. I just wrote a paper that took me approx 46 minutes, and I wanted to share it with you. It's "kind of like" an essay, and I had to pick a topic, so I figured since Mario Kart Wii will be out soon I'll just write about that. So please, tell me what you think, and enjoy.

Mario Kart Wii

On April 24th, 2008 Nintendo will release its latest installment to the Mario Kart series. The game is called Mario Kart Wii, and will single handedly change the way Mario Kart is played.

Back in the 1990's the first Mario Kart game was released on the Super Nintendo, and was an instant success. It lead to numerous sequels, which featured new levels, graphical improvements, and new weaponry that kept the fans screaming for more. As a result, Nintendo took a huge step, and invented steering wheel that changes the way Mario Kart gamers would typically play Mario Kart. This aspect of the game will probably be the sole reason for people buying the game. It's a revolutionary idea for any Mario Kart fan; just imagine it, you're playing Mario Kart with a steering wheel, and you can go online (for the first time on a console with Mario Kart) and battle people worldwide! I'm sorry, but how can you not be excited about that!? Whether you're a fan of Mario Kart, or not you can still testify that this is a huge advancement for Mario Kart players. I've read, and discovered articles by people from Japan, where the game is currently released by the way, who say that Mario Kart Wii is one of the most fun, amazing, and exciting games ever made. In addition, I also read that the online game play is lag - free, and very fun. Therefore, I can conclude, and say with complete assurance that Mario Kart Wii is shaping up to be a great game. History speaks for itself, and history says that Mario Kart rules!

I'm at a complete loss of words. No one can explain the hype, and sheer excitement that I feel. Mario Kart Wii is just a game, but it's also something that gamers have been craving for quite some time. Everyone who owns a Wii knows one thing is certain - we all need a great online game, and finally we're getting what we need with Mario Kart Wii.

Most people say you cant use the wheel online if you play to win...it doesnt work as well as the classic controller or NGC controller...just so you know.

And if you are wanting to know if we think its well written...Basically, you start with one style and, half way through your first paragraph, you begin another. I usually do not care about grammar on Gamespot but I don't know if you want us to "grade" your paper or what....

Actually, I don't want anyone to "grade" my paper, but I do want to give people a reminder about how fun the game will be. If you want to talk about your excitement, or the features of Mario Kart Wii, then feel free to do so. You can also bash my paper if you'd like, I guess it really isn't that big of a deal. Honestly, it was difficult for me to write a very good paper within 45 - 50 min with very little correction. But hey, I'm learning, right? Lol!

I just didnt know what you wanted. But I am with you, Mario Kart Wii will be great. I must have been seven or eight years old when the first Mario Kart for SNES came out, I have every single one now.

Same. I'm sick of all the die-hards fans clinging onto their Gamecube controllers, and the fanboys who go into the MK forum and say it sucks with wheel and the graphics are crap too.

I don't understand the people who say they want the Wii to use more Wiimote based controls then opt to use GC or classic controls when given the option.

So i'm a nerd? jk

I tried the wheel, it was great fun! But I like the precision of Wiimote + Nunchuck, I think that style is the best :D And it's good fun too :D I like how the Wii allows many control schemes for one that suits you :D

agreed, wii wheel is way more fun, and it doesnt give any disadvantage over GC controller players at all, i'v won plenty using the wii wheel, and even if i dont win people using the wheel often win and come near the top of the rankings.

I'm surprised it took 45 minutes long to write that. Mario Kart is an excellent game, well passed my expectations, the wheel is crap and too bulky for my liking and the courses on a whole is a good selection.

Feels somewhat strange to play DS courses on the big screen and I'm in two minds whether it's a good or bad edition to the game. For some reason or another, we still haven't got Wario's course from the N64 version.

The bikes are fun to play with and the stunts in the game are a little gimicky, but the multy player is as strong as ever and a lot of fun to play and the online is FANTASTIC, best online game for the Wii to date.

Yeah, I'm kind of slow when it comes to writing, but that's why I'm practicing. Furthermore, I agree 100% that Mario Kar Wii is the best game out on the Wii, as far as online features are concerned.
