About the DSi

I was recently reading what people were saying about the DSi. All I was hearing was "It's going to bomb just like the GBA Micro" and "Without the GBA slot, the DSi is going to suck". How come no one is thinking positive. It's starting to bug the crap out of me. Most likely, Nintendo will find out that everyone wants the GBA slot back and they'll throw it on at the last second. And with all of these new additions to the DSi, it just might sell better than the DS Light. Hopefully. Just give it a chance. Wait until it comes out. Personally, I'm really exited about this. I can't wait.

Finally a non anti DSi topic

i really like the dsi i plan on getting it when it comes out and i love all the features it has

Nintendo is not going to include a GBA slot for the U.S. release, no matter what. It seems like a slap in the face to owners of Guitar Hero, but don't forget what Sony did to fans of Final Fantasy XI. When Sony released the slim PS2, it omitted the hard drive necessary to play FF XI. It was a business maneuver that excluded a certain group of gamers from purchasing the new hardware.

The DSI simply doesn't offer enough improvements to make a purchase necessary, but will offer something new to keep hardware sales in the clear. I think most hardcore gamers would rather have a GBA slot, than an SD slot to play music, especially since most people own Ipods or better alternatives. The improved internet browser in the DSI is promising, since it's based on the Wii Opera software, meaning we should be able to watch videos on YouTube. The camera will only appeal to me if it's used in games to create a unique experience, although it will be shutting-out anyone who owns a different DS model.

But it really excites me because no GBA slot = More space for hardware = More software/power!!!!!!!!!!!
