1. Get Zelda if you like Zelda games.

2. The nunchuck comes in the Wii box.

3. Yes! Yes! Yes! Get Killer7, Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime. You will not regret this I promise you.

1/ Zelda is good-not the best LOZ game, but still well worth playing. 2/ Yea, you get the nunchuku anyway, although to play multiplayer on most games I would recommend another nunchuku. Having said that, you dont need the nunchuku for Smooth Moves. 3/ Killer7, Zelda:Wind Waker, Beyond Good and Evil. I wouldnt get Resi 4 yet as they are releasing it for the Wii. You may as well wait and see how they implement the Wiimote until deciding which version to get. Also, download Ocarina of Time off the virtual console. It is, quite simply, the best game ever.

To play GC games, you will need a GC controller. The GC controller can also be used for many VC games. I have been playing a few GC games while I wait for new Wii games to come out, and some of them are awesome. Metroid Prime 1&2 and Eternal Darkness are good examples. RE4 is great, but it might be best to wait another six weeks and get the Wii version that is coming out. For right now Zelda and Excite Truck are good games for the Wii.

I advise the following:

-Zelda (Wii)

-Gamecube controller

-Gamecube Memory card

- Killer7 (GC)

- Metroid Prime (GC)

i've never actually tried it myself, but i think the classic controller does work with GC games.... but tbh, the reason i haven't bothered to try it is that i have the GC waivebird controller, and and that wipes the floor with the classic controller imo...

Incorrect.  You can not use the Classic Controller in place of a GC controller for GC games.

You don't have to have an SD card to save, the Wii has 512MB of internal flash memory. But if you already have an SD card you can use that too. I would recommend a Classic Controller. Anyone who tells you that you can use a GameCube controller to comfortably control a Super NES game is a liar. A liar I say!

How exciting for you! :D

You can use the 2gb SD card from your pda, it should work fine. You'd be able to fit a lot of games on that thing, dont need to worry about that. But remember you can also use the Wii's built in memory for the games. The SD card comes when you need more space to store files you arent using.

Oh and I'd recommend a Classic Controller as well.  GameCube controler works fine but it feels kind of weird when you are trying to play SMB with the lower D pad and all...

I just rented and played through Batallion Wars and I found it to be an amazingly fun game. Now I'm psyched for Batallion Wars II online on the Wii this year. So just another recommendation for old Cube games.

Yeah it was good and BWii will fix all it's flaws IE Multiplayer, Micro-managing units. It's my most anticipated Wii game.
