I did this on the PSP forum; now it's the DS's turn...
Everyone has a favorite DS game. Everyone has also gotten stuck with a title that made them wish Atari would port the "E.T." game. What game made you turn it off before you ever got started and what would you do to fix it? This is your chance to completely trash that game you spent your hard earned money on, only to find out it was garbage.
Here are the rules for posting in this forum:
1.) I don't care what someone said about a game that you absolutely loved. This is not a debate. It is your opinion on one or two games that you could not bring yourself to finish. So, if someone said that your favorite game was a slice of fresh poo...GET OVER IT!
2.) I don't want to see any quotes unless you are agreeing with someone else about a particular title.
3.) This is only for fun and not to cause any arguments...keep that outside this forum.
4.) If you didn't get the "E.T." game referrence, I suggest you look into it on Wikipedia...know your history young ones! And be grateful for the garbage you have today! (Yes, I played E.T. in 1982...and it WAS the worst game ever)
5.) I'll go first...
Sudoku Mania - I only paid $10 for it and I traded it after 1 round. And I still ask myself "how do you ****-up a sudoku game?" yet they managed to do so. What a sorry excuse for an interface. Pales in comparison to Sudoku Gridmaster.
Diddy Kong Racing - Did Rare make the deal to do this for the DS only after promising Microsoft it would suck??? How is it that Mario 64 DS looks BETTER than the original N64 version, and Mario Kart DS reigns over every other racing title, yet Diddy Kong looks like pixelated garbage, controls like a formula-1 car on ice, and lets not forget the silver coin challenge...who's brilliant idea was it to have you tap a balloon and turn your character's head all with the touch screen. So many times I would go to tap the screen and the critter would look to where I had pointed causing me to miss several balloons. Rare truly went to the dark side with Microsoft, and there is no good left in them.
Alright...who's next? Let's keep it clean and have fun.
Peace -MBA-
