According to many, DS best current system?

I would have to agree, I play it more than any other system I own. The DS's library is wonderful, there are tons of good gams to play. I wouldn't see why anyone would really not want the handheld.papya13

I think the DS probably is the best right now. The games are addicitve and extremely original. Mutatedbloodelf

Ok, best current system or best current handheld? Though I don't own a 360, PS3, or Wii, I doubt the DS is better than all three of those. But, I do think the DS is the best handheld out there. Sure, the PSP's graphics are amazing, but the DS has such a huge library, full of some real gems (though it could use more fighting games and RPGs).

In the past, I haven't really accumulated what I would call a collection of games for any of the handhelds I've owned (GBC, GBA, SP). Like, I've owned just a few. I have a genuine collection for the DS, and it's going to increase very rapidly in the next year. I still can't get over it. I have a feeling my collection might eventually rival the collections I have for past console systems!

i personaly like home consoles a lot better then the ds the only reason i even keep my ds anymore is for prime hunters and mario kart but to me the wii is a lot better then any current system

Saying any system is the best is like saying what do you like better: steak, chicken or pizza? lol

It is a great system though, with a lot of fun games, and it's the highest selling of all systems in the current marketplace... so it's doing pretty well in most minds... :)

DS= JRPG and SRPG heaven. And that's just the Atlus games...

In my family, we have owned basically every console ever made, and I use my DS the most by far.

The DS is probably the best system, if you don't consider the PC.

ds is the best selling unit , of this gen 100 million followed by the wii at 50 plus million lol and psp ,, 50 million wii leads consoles ds leads handhelds psp gets bronze lo l and is a handhelds pretty sad lol ,
