i missed out on the first one, and i kinda wish i hadn't. I certainly won't be missing this one. I don't care what the story is. The gameplay will be amazing.
I've been tracking this game for a while now and i like the change. THe first advance wars ds felt too "romantic". Everything was happy la dee da and dreamym, it was still a good game. I'm glad this one will be more realistic and dark
Well, there were quite a few threads about it when it was first announce ( answers the OP's question), but it's true there hasn't been one in awhile. But nonetheless, I really want this game, cauz I played the first one for about 10 min, and I loved it. Unfortunately, the first one wasn't mine, and I couldn't find the dual strike anywhere anymore, so i'll just be waiting for this one.

If you mean on AW:DoR I'd say you just haven't been looking hard enough as there's been quite a few.
Regardless, it's going to be an awesome game. There has also been a few threads with links to Fire Emblem DS which are worth checking out. I can't name them off the top of my head but I have posted in a few if the links need to be pulled back up.
Advance Wars and Castlevania have been THE reasons to own a GBA/DS. If it had those two franchises and nothing more, I'd still pump hours into my machine.

I think it's scheduled for January. Definitely a 1st day purchase, but I'm still mad that they didn't make Fire Emblem DS first.
