Im gonna make a new and fresh team on pokemon pearl and the lucky 6 im thinking about so far is:

Feraligatr- water

Venusaur-Grass

Gengar- ghost

Palkia- water/dragon

Luxray/electabuz- electric

Magmortar/ Lucario- fire/ fighting,steel

Is this an acceptable team ? and and if there are any experts out there which moves and what should i EV train the pokemon in?

Also should i change any pokemon for others? ?

What you need it for ingame or playing against other people? Because if your planning to play against other people you should remove Palkia as its too overpowered and most people will refuse to play you.

Also you really need to provide a moveset at least.

Just a suggestion, be careful with water types cause mostly they have a limited moveset.

Feraligatr is one of my favorite water types, but in my opinion, Swampert is the best. My Swampert has Earthquake, Avalanche, Waterfall, and Counter as it's moveset, and it's a good one. If you're gonna stick with Fera, give him Earthquake, Avalanche/Ice Punch, Waterfall, and you pick the last. I'd do Crunch.

Venusaur is groovy, but I like the recently added Roserade a little more because he's faster and more powerful. Venusaur is better defensively and has more health however. Pick whoever supports your team better, the movesets are the same. I use Leaf Storm, Sleep Powder, Sludge Bomb, and Synthesis on mine.

Gengar is a very, very versatile special attacker. There are a ton of ways to go with him, but if I was going to make one, I'd give him Shadow Ball, Psychic, Tbolt/IceBeam, and/or another move of your choice.

Palkia should have Surf, Spatial Rend/Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Aura Sphere/your choice.

Of these options, go with Electivire, the new evolution to Electabuzz. Mine has Earthquake, Thunderpunch, Crosschop, and Ice Punch. He's pretty much untouchable and can counter any type thrown at him. Luxray is kind of a joke. His stats are pretty bad for an electric type, particularly a 2nd evolution, and his moveset is awful.

If you go with Magmortar, go with Lava Plume or overheat, give him Tbolt, Ice Beam or HP Ice, and Focus Blast.

Lucario is pretty versatile as well, for a physical one, go with Crunch, Close Combat, Swords Dance, and either Stone Edge or Substitute. If you're making a special sweeper, use Dark Pulse, Psychic/Vacuum wave, Aura Sphere, and Dragon Pulse.

There you go. I hope that helps. If you are looking for the true specialists when it comes to picking out pokemon, check out Serebii.net. They are pretty much the ones who know everything.

Feraligatr- Not so fast, but not too slow for a water type. You could certainly make do with Adamant or Jolly.

Venu/Rose- I play a Timid Rose, but you could go with Modest as well. Both are helpful, but Timid would be more helpful on Rose and modest more useful on Venu.

Genger- He's freak fast so modest works most of the time, Timid if you absolutely need to outrun Alakazam, and you might.

Palkia would want either Modest or Timid, but it depends on the build usually.

Electivire is tricky. I went with Jolly because I want to outrun most of my big counters, but Adamant would give you a boost to your attack if you think you can pull a switch hit and get his power running.

Magmortar won't outrun his league so shoot for Modest if he's special or Adamant if he's physical.

Lucario is the same as Magmortar.

so no sassy for venusaur? a lot of people claim that sassy is a good nature for venusaur cause of its high special defence.

One quick tip, I would suggest Magmortar over Lucario. A good team usually consists of the three primary types Fire,Grass,Water.

Use Electrive for your electric type, he's a physical powerhouse once he knows all 3 elemental punches and cross shop

What I would decide is if you really need two water types, Feraligatr and Palkia are both good, but which would help you more? Personally, I don't like to use Legendary Pokemon, so I would use Feraligatr, but once again it is all your choice.
