It's not impossible but I agree that it is a challenge.
You have to call stores daily and for this time of the season you need to camp out. Your best chances will be places like Best Buy and Circuit City and Saturday nights are the best time to camp out since many stores release their Wii's on Sundays to get people into the stores so they can try to push other stuff on them too.

I went to EB every day from 11-5 becasue they told me they would get 3-10 one day that week. Friday came and i got mine, this was 6 months ago at least.....

Ahh, you got me, I was being a jerk. But it does take some patience to find one. Thanks to my Girl-Friend standing out in line in the cold I was able to get mine last year.
