Is there a pokemon game where you can capture and use all of the pokemon to date? I think theres like 400 plus at least. Anyway, im asking because I think it would be a good idea to mix teams of generations and battle them?

The games have always been made so that people would have to trade and go to events to get certain Pokemon.
Nope I'm afraid not you see nintendo will never give up the massive con that pokemon has become ... I mean seriously you buy the game, you wanna catch em all but oh wait a sec you need the other one to get the rest. Which means either buying the other copy just for that or trudging through the terrible trading wifi system in which people have the annoying tendancy to ask for a legendary pokemon for a level weedle or sumin like that
Originally it was alright but now since the series is so big I think its a bit daft and getting a bit awkward. They need to start putting all the pokemon on one game.

heh the only way nintendo would do that is if it was a pokemon mmo , but they would have to change up some things such as levels and put in a system similar to ff13 crystal points and then make u obtain the last points to put into increasing something when u make post game. awaiting the next expansion but it wont happen :P cause they like to keep it simple.merchI've been praying for that MMO for years now, I mean the wii is perfectly capable of it so why it isnt under way i dont know specially when gamers have been demanding it for AGES!!! ... maybe next gen
ooo a pokemon MMO would be epic! I can't wait for HeartGold/SoulSilver to be released, though tbh I still think the original red/blue version have been the most fun to play (then again it may of been just the hype around the series at the time that made them seem that way).I honestly don't like that there's over 400 pokemon now, it's kind of over-kill. I think they should of stopped at 250.
Buh! someone trade me! i want a friggan Gengar ffs!!!!!!!
This is why I hated and gave up on Pokemon. I never had any friends who were also into it so I couldn't trade with anyone. I had the blue version, then played Pokemon Snap and Stadium. After that I stopped playing the games.Nope I'm afraid not you see nintendo will never give up the massive con that pokemon has become ... There's a good reason that the Pokemon franchise is one of the highest selling franchises on the market. Nintendo took a chance on something that was completely new and unique and it paid off in a big way.
By the way, if you don't like Pokemon for the lack of having the game contain every element, well, tough beans. Go out and meet people or forum with people that don't have your copy.
Anyway, no, there is no game that has every Pokemon within it, but Platinum is a good contender. You can catch upwards of 400 pokemon in that game I believe. You don't get the starters from the other games, their respective legendaries, or certain other families, but you do have the ability to catch A LOT of Pokemon in just the 4th gen.
