...GB/GBA.

GB would be very easy to do for them, because all they really have to do is port the Super GameBoy (an SNES cart). That would pretty much be all the programming they need for any GB game, as all they would have to do is just cut and paste each GB rom from there out. GBA would require a little more work, of course, but should still be easy.

I gotta say getting Metroid Fusion on my TV would be pure awesomness, not to mention some other classics.

Think it'll ever happen?

I would like Vigilante 8 (N64) on the VC. As for your Game Boy games idea I don't really care if it ever happens, I say it's better with out it because I will never buy any Game Boy games on VC.:P

I've always hoped to get GBA on VC. I'd love to play some of those games on my tv.
By the time I got serious about picking up a GBA Player for the Cube, they were gone from the shelves. I snoozed and I loozed.

Probably won't happen for a long time though, if ever.

No, we don't need anymore systems on the VC. We only get two games a week if we're lucky. The last thing we need is for Nintendo to release a bunch of terrible GB games every few weeks.

Dreamcast! :DBattleAciD

The Wii isn't powerful enough to emulate the Dreamcast and there's no place to store the games.

What are you trying to say is false? That the Wii isn't powerful enough to emulate the Dreamcast? It's not even close to being powerful enough to emulate the DC. It can just barely emulate the N64.

how about something to play VC games on DS? that would be KICKASS! But it's nintendo, and soccer moms don't want to play SNES games on the go, so we're pretty much screwed in that front.

Actually it's both. However since it can't run them in the first place, space is not a concern. It's not going to happen. GBA games either, they still sell GBA carts.

No, the main issue is power for the Dreamcast. Even if we had a 20 Gig HDD, Dreamcast games wouldn't be possible since the Wii isn't powerful enough to emulate them.

If Nintendo started releasing more games a week (which they won't) I still wouldn't think GB games would be a great addition to the library. For me personally, I own a GB, GBA, and DS and can find the cartridges for very cheap online. For everyone else, I wouldn't want to play crude black and white GB games on a 30 inch television. There aren't many games on that system which aged well. The GBA is still relatively new so I don't see them putting those games on the VC.

I'm sure Nintendo's next handheld will have some internal memory and Nintendo will set up a system where you can download not only GB and GBA games but Gamegear, Neo Geo Pocket games, etc. They'd be stupid not to.

These are all pretty cool ideas. If Nintendo were to create an expansion pack for the VC surely there would be even more reason to go forward with expanding their system categories.

[QUOTE="PhazonBlazer"]it needs Mario PaintRocky32189

QFT.

It would need to be completely reworked though. As they've shown with other titles they don't seem to want to add peripheral support for them. Mario Paint used the mouse peripheral. They would need to recode all of that to have it work with the wiimote. Can't see it happening. That said, it would be pretty fun. I'd prefer a new Mario Paint though.

It would be cool if they could update it and bring it out for WiiWare.

no all they need now is Majora's Mask. Then they can get new platforms.

and if they get GBA and such I want oracle of ages and seasons (one of a very select few zelda games I never played when they released)

They are games you can download on the shop channel. But they are new and original games, not ports from old systems like the virtual console.
