Can someone please explain why so many people are afraid that Nintendo (and everyone else) is going to stop making games after the future releases we know about?

I mean you see threads like...

"What is after Mario Galaxy?"

"What's after Smash?"

"What's after Mario Kart Wii?"

I'm sure it shocked some users when Galaxy was released and THERE WERE STILL GAMES AHEAD! lol Users backing away from the screen with tears running down their faces after seeing that there's still more releases on the way in future months. Saying something that sounds like "They're still making them they're still making them they're still making them"

So does anyone have any idea where all this comes from? I mean are there that many people that think Nintendo is going to finish making a game and then say "WHEW! Glad that's over. Now we can do what we always wanted to do. Retire and spend our days fishing! Games Shmames! Where my mackerel?!?"

Any ideas where the fear comes from?

I think those questions are pretty funny, too. I guess it's just a case of out of sight, out of mind. Just because they don't have any information about what new games are on the horizon, they assume they must not exist. Just human nature, I guess.
