Amiibo expansion

Would anybody else be excited for splatoon or monster hunter amiibo? I'm thinking like monster amiibos that would unlock a new quest. Essentially dlc packs but with a cool figurine. Not sure what they would do with splatoon but I think it would be a way to help hype the game a bit.

Splatoon amiibo would be pretty cool, I'd probably gravitate more toward the MH ones. I'd be pumped for a Batman line of amiibo. Oh and an amiibo of Maxwell from Scribblenauts. Another idea might be to release an amiibo or two that would be compatible with Bravely Second when that comes to America and Europe.

I'd enjoy a full Zelda line of amiibo as well as a possible Starfox line as well. I'd imagine when both those games release they'll make special amiibo.

Oh, and wtf Nintendo making that gold Mario exclusive to Walmart. The absolute worst...

What is wrong with WalMart care to elaborate. They Aren't any worse then Gamestop or best buy god I hate Gamestop yet I have to shop there why because every one knows how they sell open games as new

Walmart is going to be a zoo for this thing. I have no faith in Walmart actually releasing this gold amiibo in a competent manner. The safest bet to get this thing is to pre-order online.

Gamestop at least is capable of keeping and maintaining smooth launches.

@thinkcap: My goodness i forgot about bravely default/second. I'd buy the heck out of bravely amiibos.

I'm afraid of what amiibo might do. I enjoy being able to collect some of my favourite Nintendo characters, but if they really push these things, Nintendo could essentially end up withholding content form those that do not wish to purchase these figurines.

i remember back in the old days were you just played games and didnt have to link stupid little toys to unlock content that should just be in the game

and the funny part is im sure at least some of you are the same people that bitch about shady DLC tactics
