An Animal Crossing Dream

This could qualify as blog material. But it's an idea just far too crazy to limit to my blog. So here it goes.

One fateful night a year ago, during the summer, I was roaming around my village. The stars were out and the lights from the town's gate flashed in the distance and the music that was playing was... so magical. I remember it was a jingle I had never heard before. Sounded like rainbow dust. :P

So OUT OF NO WHERE, A TARANTULA RACES UP TO ME. I shuffle for my net. I finally get it equipped and JUST as I get ready to swing my net, WHAM. I got destroyed by a tarantula.

Now that you have the back story of my Animal Crossing Dream, it got me to thinking...

DISCLAIMER: This will never happen to the series. I don't even want to see it to happen in fear of ruining the foundation of Animal Crossing.

Of how WEIRD, yet slightly cool it would be if you could depart on an adventure beyond your town's gate, equipped with a sword and shield to kick some major tarantula ***! An RPG of sorts. I want my villager to wear the garb of a magician and tumble into a cave to find a GIANT SKELETON DINOSAUR, just waiting for me to tear it down with fiery magic!

:P Anyone ever sometimes wish there was LOADS more to Animal Crossing than the already hugely customizable, fantastic game has to offer?

Outside the town walls? Yes. Fighting and RPG elements? Naw. Ruins the calm and easy-going feel of the game.chazasul
