as long as they recognize who will be interested in this game, it should get a good review. the main problem with most reviews is that it's based on the reviewers own taste, not on the actual quality of the game. Â
i'm so done with gamespot's wii reviews. if they stopped reviewing Wii games all together and only had user reviews, i don't think i'd even notice.  Â
based on their scale, if it gets a 7.5 here, it's a great game. Â Â
That's an 8.25, which is pretty darn good. I don't think anyone expected an Animal Crossing game to be AAAA material.

It is good, and since I didnt play WW and only played the Camecube one for about a week and a half (which is the time I got into the AC games) I will for the most part have a fresh experience and since I know I like the GC one I can picture myself giving this game a 8.5-9.0.
I hope I get better/cooler villagers this time. I only like 3 of my villagers in the GC AC.
33/40= 8.25 which is AA, yeah? That's solid. Scores don't matter to the people getting this game because we know what we're in for (IMO this is a good thing as I love the formula of AC). If it gets 8.0 or 8.5 here that will be good- it will assure the people that are thinking about getting the game to get it.
That's good. I can't wait for WiiSpeak. As soon as I start trying out the online (I'll probably do it about 2 hours after I get it) I'm so scouring Gamespot for people to test WiiSpeak on. I hope WiiSpeak DOES have some kind of noise filter though.

It is usually the high-profile Japanese or Western games that get the 30's or high 20's scores, even games that received low scores in the West (Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 and Blue Dragon). The Japan-only games seem to get the low scores.
