are there any ways to earn money(bells) in this game so i could pay for my mortgage...my only solution is jacking all the apples and selling it to that racoon...lolphaze21

 One tip... go out and buy an action replay.... free bells... millions of them... the game is still very addictive with unlimited bells... it enhanced the gameplay and makes the game less of a chore... 

That's the only way you get bells!!! Anyway, here's how I do it:

1. Yes, like you said, shake fruit and sell them
2. Get fish/bugs/fossils and sell them. Fossils sell for like 3k each average
3. Collect sea shells and sell them
4. Do errands for neighbors and get either 1) bells 2) furniture that you can use/sell to Nook

You're not the only one who hates Tom Nook. :P

Wow.  There are alot of ways.  Fish, catch bugs, grow trees and flowers... like I said, alot of ways to make money.

The problem is that few of them are quick; they're very time consuming.  Except for the foreign fruit trade.  Do you have Wi-Fi?

I don't have Wi-Fi either, but I know alot about it.  You need a wireless connection.

Now man getting an action replay takes all the fun away from games, the chore of the game is what makes it fun. I had an AR for my gamecube and i never had any fun in games like shooting games or something takes away the challenge and fun of it.

animal crossing is a game that is meant to be played over a long period of time.. It's a "no brain-er" type of a simulation game that is intended to kill time when you are bored.  I myself have literally spent years on my town and house.

I've had this game for a couple of weeks, and its beging to get very boring.MoleyPoley123
