Animal Crossing Wild World friend registration ?

Hey.

So I added a bunch of people to my friends, and then went to leave my town. To my astonishment, the gate guard said I had to friends I could visit. I checked my log again after I left the place, and saw three people with a orange triangle by their name. What does that mean? How do i leave?!

I have no idea I had the same problem

my only guess is that they have to add you also.
