Ok so I recently have been playing legend of zelda but I have beat the legend of zelda games that I have so I am looking for a new game similar to the LoZ, is there one out there for either PC or WII U (Wii and gamecube work also)

(preferably like the 3d legend of zeldas like ocarnia of time, majoras mask, twlight princess, Wind waker and skyward sword)

Beyond Good and Evil on PC or GC

Sphinx and The Cursed Mummy on GC

Darksiders 2 on PC or WiiU (maybe a bit more combat focused and rpgish but still has a good mix of puzzles and exploration)

All the GC and Wii Prince of Persias

Brutal Legend on PC

Try to get your hands on Okami.
One of the best games ever, and quite similar to Zelda in many ways.

@Sgt_Crow: I second getting Okami. It's the best Zelda-like game I've played that isn't Zelda.

You're not alone in wanting more games like Zelda, dude. No one but Nintendo seems to make games like that anymore.

I came to backtrack on saying Brutal Legend was Zelda-like. It's a great game, there just aren't many puzzles and it's much more action oriented. Still, it has a neat, stylized open world to explore, a hilarious story, and soundtrack of HEAVY METAL!

Also, everyone's right about Okami. Get that before anything else I suggested earlier.

Last post I swear. Check out the first Soul Reaver on PC. It plays like a mix of Zelda and Metroid with a dark-fantasy vibe. Great story and voice acting as well.

Do you like rpg's? I found Golden Sun to have some Zelda qualities with the fun puzzle solving. It has turn-based combat though so that may be a turnoff.

A lot of people say Startropics for the NES was similar to Zelda but I never played it. I think it's on the Wii VC.

Okami pretty much the perfect answer for you. You should think about getting some other consoles too, because there are many Zelda Clones on them.

The Darksiders series are like Zelda mixed with God of War. I really enjoyed both games.

I slightly preferred Darksiders 1 though. I found the game world much more interesting!

Star Fox Adventures, Metroid Prime series (Though its more shooter, still a exploration/adventure game), Dark Souls series (PC) is somewhat similar, Okami, Skyrim (PC), and Tales of Symphonia (GC) might catch your interest. That's all that really comes to mind...

The first Soul Reaver is really, really, really good. You can legally download it from GOG for, like, 5 dollars. Metroid games, except for Other M, are pretty similar to Zelda. The Prime series, in particular, have the same kind of puzzles. The whole trilogy is a 10 dollars download for the Wii U. That's an exceptionally good deal.

Okami (atlhough I'd recommend you due proper research to get the best version). I won't argue about that again in here though.

Dark Souls and Mount & Blade are kinda like Zelda, combat wise. They are pretty much inspired by Zelda. You wont find many games that have that Zelda feel.

Which Mount and Blade are you playing? The combat is nothing like Zelda. Unless maybe if you're thinking of Skyward Sword with the directional slashing.

Skies of Arcadia is awesome.

@garywood69: that feel of total control you get when you play. I have only felt this playing Zelda games, but then i tried Dark Souls and Mount & Blade and was like, yep their it is, i feel in full control. Having a block button and then a swing button and also a bow. I think they added block button later in series. Also using items to help your combat. Its makes it feel like you have total control over Link. But yeah the games are way different, i just couldnt think of nothing that would give you that feel of combat that Zelda has.

I have this Zelda-like game in my Steam account called Oceanhorn: Monster of the Uncharted Seas that's very similar to ALTTP and Zelda games in general. If you like Zelda games than you can't go wrong with that one!

Metroid. The difference is shooting mechanics, and it's in space.

Dark Souls on PC. Darker and much harder, but it will help fill the void.

The only 2 games that come to mind are Okami and Darksiders.

Okami is on Wii (so you can play it on your Wii U) and Darksiders 2 is on Wii U.

Hi. I am a little late to this thread. If you are looking for a Zelda-like RPG, Okami and Darksiders are both great choices. Both are some of my favorite games. I've played both and really enjoyed them. But if you are including GameCube games on this list, I see on obvious oversight.

The Sands of Time trilogy of Prince of Persia...Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones should definitely be added to the list. Zelda is my favorite game and Prince of Persia is a definite Zelda-like RPG. It has dungeons and puzzles that are very reminiscent of Zelda. The Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands was also released to the Wii. All excellent games, like Zelda.

Because of Operation Rainfall, we are also left with a gem on the Wii. Pandora's Tower was a lot of fun. It was basically the Wii's swan song. It was GREAT.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, Beyond Good and Evil was also released to the GameCube. It is ALOT like Zelda. Zelda is my favorite series of games, so I am always on the lookout for great games like Zelda. These are a few of my choices. These games should keep you busy for a while.;)

I hope that this helps. :)
