I need something to game to at night when I'm bored. Any good, maybe cute-ish (I just love those chibis) RPG anime-based games out there?

The World Ends With You

For the TC, The World Ends With You may not be exactly what you want. It never really feels like an RPG through the whole game, characters are made to portray reality so much that they become these emotional, ginger wrecks who hear voices in their heads, and battles just feel like those web games where you're trapped in small areas and have to dodge stuff. Haha, okay enough bashing it. I just tried it a bit ago after everyone on this site giving it such high praise and it wasn't something I could get into. I think this happens to 1 in 5 people who play it. And something you might like would probably be Dragon Quest IX Sentinels of the Starry Sky(turnbased and total chibi), Runescape 3(real time battles with some more chibi) or Final Fantasy III, IV or the Four Heroes of Light(I personally liked III and Four Heroes of Light more, but IV is still good. They're all really anime based and everything about them is chibi).

Isn't basically any RPG made up in anime styIe? Or are you looking into an RPG based on a popular series? Probably not your bag, but worth checking out anyway: Jump Super Stars.

If you're looking into Jump Super Stars, then don't buy that, get Jump Ultimate Stars. not sure if JSS has Internet, but JUS does. Plus JUS has more characters, thats about all i know.

When I opened Glory of Heracles today, i was surprised in the opening, it was very anime-ish. But in all so far its a really good classic Final Fantasy like RPG.

i really liked the game i thought it got a bad rap for being traditional jrpg in a time when everyone wants fast based hacking rpgs but it has a good story, and gameplay. naruto path of ninja games are nice rpgs and they are based off the anime. with that sad the ds has some of the best rpgs out there, dq9, ff4 heroes of light, shin megami games and so many more

TWEWY is a make it or break it game. You either love or hate it. Fortunately, most people out there love it.

It's a awesome RPG, with great plot, music, and unique gameplay.
