To my knowledge, no information. Nintendo is probably working on other franchises that have been waiting longer than mario. But rest assured, there will be new mario games in the future.

I'd like that too, if it went back to it's RPG roots and followed on from the N64 & GCN games. They strayed from that formula for Super Paper Mario and the game suffered.

I'd like that too, because Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi RPGs are the only RPGs I like
Hmm, as much as I love Mario games, and I really do, I wouldn't mind waiting a year or two for another Mario platformer. Galaxy was excellent so I don't want them to rush the next one. How about a 3D Mario game and one of the worlds just have 2D 8-bit sprites, that'd be funny.
not as far as i know. to be honest i would be surprised if the wii got another mario platformer. usually its one a gen. i suspect that there preparing the next mario platformer to be a launch title for the wii2.
Shigeru Miyamoto has announced a new Mario and Zelda game coming out later this year or early next year. I hope they don't rush it, as Galaxy was fantastic and more of the same quality would be great
Just throwing this out there, what if they made a MMO with Mario or Zelda!?!?!?
lol, propbly would not get through, but still, zelda has lots of creatures that could be used. and they already have made Marios RPG's, so there would still be a possibility.

I would agree on easy. Sunshine wasnt that easy, sure it wasnt hard but it wasnt really easy either. Galaxy, though, was really easy and that made me like the game less than i would have if it was harder.

I would of liked to have been a tad more challenging, but It was still quite tough once you unlocked every level. Curse those purple coins!!!
how about a mario fps (jk) or an open world mario game and totally have huge maps, lots of exploration, power ups, and almost make an action rpg out of it.
