Any news on the "Monkey King" game thats in the works?

Saw a little footage and some images, seems like a decent 2D side scroller game, since I'm a fan of the whole Monkey King mythology anyways, just hadn't heard anything about it in a while. Also any word on the release date?

DBZ has tons of elements from the old story of the Monkey king. honestly Goku-San and his expanding staff who also floats on a cloud is seen in quite a few Chinese and Japanese tv shows, movies, games, books.

Goku was based on the monky king or Sun Wukong Japanese translate * Son Goku * Monkey has a staff that can extend or shrink and a cloud he can ride. Its a pretty interesting story.

I'd like to know more on this game. I saw some screenshots of it. It's looking a side scroller shooter a la R-Type. I read the Chinese novel "Journey to the West" before. It was really awesome. And, yes Dragon Ball had been influenced by this novel like this game. chris3116

I also finished that book a little while ago, the game looks promising and simple for a pick up and play game. Have you seen the scifi channel movie "Monkey King" ? It was alright for an american made movie.
