Any news on those Final Fantasy rumors that were going around for a while?

When the 3ds first came out there was rumors that they might remake FF 5 and 6 like they did with FF 3 and 4 for the DS, or maybe a new game, but I haven't heard a peep from Squaresoft lately about it. Personally I think the 3ds could use a good RPG.

in ff6 remake? that would be VERY VERY epic. I would pay $40 dollars for that.

I would love to see a 3d version of ff 6. Kefka getting his boots dusted off in 3d my inner nerd would be totally excited.
