i didn't, my local EB said they would get it today, but they didnt (stupid liars). However, did anyone manage to get a copy today? if so, what do you think of the online mode?

yeah my local futureshop says they get game shipments on tuesday, so it might come then. but their flyer said Aug.1st. If not, i can check Bestbuy or ebgames, or walmart.
So, since its july 31st... did anyone get strikers yet? i checked futureshop, bestbuy, and ebgames, futureshop and bestbuy said that they get it tomorrow, and EBGAMES said later today.

ill just wait for tomorrow. i got a $5 coupon for any Wii game at Bestbuy. Plus, i have summer school and my exam is tomorrow.. study now, then tomorrow after school ill have it and play it i guess. :D
I just got it. It's a very fun game, although I wish the music was more prevalent. I played a few online games, won most of them, losing another in a 12 minute sudden death. The lag is pretty bad when it happens, but most of my games were pretty smooth.
I have played the game and maybe its just me but i just dont see the appeal for the game. I think the gamespot rating was pretty accurate. Its a fun game with online capability, but the presentation is boring. Its better than the gamecube version but I would have expected better on the Wii. I think most people are excited about the game just due to the fact that its a new game available. I think if this game came out at a time when more games were available then you wouldnt see too many people excited about the release.
Got it 2 hours ago, and I havent been able to finish one WiFi match because one of us always gets disconnected(pretty sure its the other guy, since Mario Kart DS works fine and my connection says its fine.
