This game looks very fun and gory. The graphics are pleasing as well as a great story line (a criminal who has to compete in a deadly gameshow for his freedom). I believe this will be the next great mature title following no more heroes so whos interested in it????
I am looking forward to this game based on what I've seen from it. Which is not very much. Once they put up a video of gameplay footage then I will know whether to get my hopes up. I think the black and white style looks cool. They might want to add some slight color to parts characters and usable objects in the game so people don't lose their positioning.gamecubepad

I can! In the first Image we see our character walking down the street. In the second image we can see him walking down a bloody street. And in the third image we can see him extracting the enemy's heart out of his chest and squishing it before his eyes.

I've got my eye on it and I'll certainly keep my eye on it but right now I'm just a bit skeptical because it looks kinda like a button mashing fest. well since this is the wii a stick waggling fest.
then again thats exactly what I thought about No More Heroes before that came out and it ended up being one of my favorite campaigns ever. The bosses are just so good in that game.
As for the graphics its basically the Sin City video game so I'm cool with it. I love that movie and the style. Plus Elijah Wood played the coolest character in existence, ever.
I am excited about this game. I think it looks unique and is of course mature which is something Nintendo always needs. I mean they're doing better this gen but still need more. Plus I didn't know who was making it, which now makes me even more excited. Actually, I think I'm going to go replay No More Heroes for the third time now...
I'm on the fence with this one. As cool as it looks, I got the feeling that it might be a let down. Even though the devs are who they are, you just dont know how this will turn out. It might end up being like NMH, who knows. Lets wait for some more information first though. It's still not going to be released until I think Q1 of 2009. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Really though, we have seen nothing of sadness other than some photos of people...that's not even concept art. At least we have gameplay footage and a proven talented dev for madworld.

Theres no info to look forward to. The devs are great but great devs make crappy games sometimes. Im not looking forward to the game yet but i am looking forward to more information on the game

I live for gore (there has to be irony in there somewhere....) so I'm looking forward to it. I merely skimmed over it and added it to my tracking, but now I'm considering a second look.
After reading the complete rundown in Nintendo Power I have to say that it all looks too childish
I mean it's bad enough that the art style isn't all that and the story needs some polish but it's going to be one of those "Oh Look blud, I Iz Adult" type of games
The ones that want it will be too young to buy it and the ones that are old enough to buy it are too grown up to be interested.
Everything I've heard about this game has turned me away. The main idea of the game just sounds bad, you have to kill people in creative ways for a high score. Oh I see, pulling his heart out and squeezing it only earns me 500 points, but shoving a stop sign through his side earns me 1,000.
I'm on the fence about it. I don't know enough about its story or gameplay to make a ruling on it, but I do like the ambition to bring a mature game to the Wii. I'm also undecided about the style. It's cool conceptually, but to play a black and white cartoon-like game might be annoying. Even in the trailer, it can be difficult to figure out what's going on.
