the total motion control I kinda like, you rotate the controler around to move Dewy. Thats kinda fun, and some of the puzzles are head scratchers. You have to save all these little dudes that are captured, and some of them are in unreachable places and it can sometimes be hard to figure out how to get up to them.
The level design is really cool too. Each level is getting harder and harder, altho it seems kiddy and kinda simple it does have a tad bit of a challange
I feel the same. Is there even any credible reviews out yet?I'm glad you posted. This is one of the games that I want to play, just not too sure when I'll be getting it.
My main concern wwas how it controlled. If the controls are spot on then it does sound like a fun game to play.

This is the first game in 20 years that I actually preordered. The plush Dewy was much bigger than I expected btw. So far I think the game is great fun. The motion control works wel, and even with the bright "kiddy" colors, there are areas that are pretty difficult to get past.
I'm a bit put off by the fact that there hasn't been a review of this game. Not that I'm expecting a great review, but it was one of the more highly anticipated Wii games. It certainly should have gotten more attention than that Pool game that was reviewed the other day. It makes me wonder why some games are getting reviewed and others are not.
As someone who bought it, mainly because it was by the Elebits team (Elebits is a GREAT GAME), I have to say it's very disappointing. While Elebits made great use of the total Wii controls and a pretty fun story mode (I won't go into the bad voice acting), this game is too simplistic for it's own good. It's basically Loco Roco on a 3D plane, to but it bluntly, but with a little less charm, and not as much fun.
Basically, you slide around levels saving your friends (except they don't affect your mass like in Loco Roco) and fighting enemies with simple attacks. While simplistic doesn't mean boring (see Tetris), in this case, it definately needed more to it to be a worthwhile full purchase. Wait for a drop to 20-30 dollars for this one.
does it play sort of like a mix of sonic and excite truck? basically just tilting the wii remote?Haziqonfire
It's Loco Roco in 3D. Your character does not move, he slides with you tilting the level using the Wiimote (kind of like how in that game he goes left & right with the way you tolt the level)
It's good. I got it about a week ago and pre-ordered it solely for the plushie.; It was a game I planned on getting but the plushie really made me want it the day it came out. From what I've played so far, it's quite enjoyable. The controls are pretty solid, granted the learning curve of about 20 minutes, but they can get frustrating at times. The game is really easy and that's my biggest complaint so far. Hopefully it will get harder as I play more into it.
