Anyone else feel like the Virtual Console has been lacking lately?

I've been really disappointed with the 3DS VC lately. The first year or so was fantastic, I downloaded so many classic games. But the last few months have been really slim. Where are the big Game Boy games like Pokemon Red/Blue/Gold/Silver and the Zelda Oracle games? Where are the SNES and GBA games? I get on the eShop every Thursday to see if there is any awesome new classic games, but I always end up disappointed.

I have no idea what's considered good on the gameboy. The only games I ever played on it were Pokemon and WarioLand 3 (which I absolutely loved). So this VC seems so unfamiliar to me. Link's Awakening was a nice surprise though.

I think, recently, they've shifted more focus to downloadable games. I've noticed games like Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud out. But yeah I kind of agree. Where are the GBA games? I know the Nintendo Ambassadors got them when they dropped the price of the 3DS but what about the rest of us?

The only disappointing thing about the Wii VC was the lack of Rare games, which made up most of the library of great N64 titles. Other than that, the VC consisted most of the obvious classics for NES, SNES and Genesis.

I agree, it has sucked for a long time. The mind BOGGLES as to why Nintendo aren't putting up their most popular games from GB/GBC/GBA and the NES/SNES

Nintendo should unload a ton of SNES, GBA, Genesis, and Neo Geo games, and use that money to offset the cost of a Wii U price drop, so that I don't see stacks of them at every store I go to.

The VC is a license to print money for Nintendo, it's incredible that they choose not to.

I feel it's about money, and not giving out good games at a good value. I think the Ambassador program really set them back, dispite they did it for the people who brought the 3DS early. The Virtual Console has been slow at giving out games & they selling the NES Ambassador games one at a time. I'm still hoping for Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages & Seasons, and Pokemon Yellow & Crystal.

It certainly has been lacking. I want to see less NES games and more gb/gbc games. And if GBA games can be given away to those who bought the 3DS before its price drop, I see no reason they cannot be sold on virtual console.

I would not be so bothered by the small number of VC releases if what they chose to include many any sense. I can get the Game Boy version of Qix and can't buy a true NES classic like Super Mario Brothers 3? Don't get me wrong I enjoy Radar Mission and Mole Mania just fine but I would think those games would be a lower release priority than, you know, popular classics people actually want to spend money on.

Just release a bunchload of GBA games on it,already!~

They need to start putting SNES games, and much more NES games too.
