The only thing that makes all games boring is either not having anyone to play against without online gaming or the annoying lag there is on all their games.
I mean Nintendo fix the damn lag or improve it!
Mario kart is the most fun online in the Wii anyway.
I`m dissapointed with Brawl mostly because of the lag online and that you have to add people to play with other rules than time...
Yes I'm getting sick of it, the online racing specifically. Not enough players with high VR points. I hate racing eleven others with 5 and 6,000 vr points where if I win I only get 20 points but if I come in second place or worse I loose anywhere from 20 to almost 300 points.
I know the game is not all about VR points but other than that I really have no reason to keep playing because I've played the heck out of it already.
There are a couple of things that I am sick of with it:
1. Funky Kong on the Flame Runner basically Holds Every Single World Record*SPOILER, highlight to read*
2. The Bikes and Go Karts are OverUnbalanced. Go Karts just can't keep up because the Bikes basically have unlimited Turbo by walking the bike. The Extra Mini Turbo is no match for unlimited turbo.
3. Every 3d MarioKart has the Characters Stats Wrong. Bowser and DK are supposed to be the Fastest but accelerate the slowest and turn the worst (Unless Mastered), Peach and Yoshi are supposed to accelerate the fastest but top speed is the slowest but they can turn the best.
4. The Handicap is unrelentless in this one when going against the CPU. How in the world is the Bit Bike keeping up with the Flame Runner and me playing with Bowser?
Other than that, I'm satisfied. The online play is perfect, the multiplayer is perfect, I wish they had more stages added from this and from previous games, I got 3 stars on every stage of every cup, it needs more battle stages but the online multiplayer makes up for that. Its got its pros and cons, which is a good thing because now they have something to work towards in making the game better.
I still to this day play my Mariokart for DS, and was hoping for the same great experience with the Wii version of MarioKart.....That isn't hte case, first couple days i just stopped playing it, but I'm keeping it becuase my girlfriend/sister/mom likes to play the game, at least they're getting some enjoyment out of it.
I just feel mario kart was dumed down for the casual gamer, instead of us core gamers =[

1.) He's the best, why shouldn't people use him?
2.) Wheelies don't qualify as unlimited turbo. They don't help that much, and if you get hit while doing a wheelie, you go for a spin. Bikes are just more noob-friendly. But experienced players can be great with both.
3.) Who are you to tell Nintendo what their characters stats should be?
4.) So you always beat the computer? That's weird, because all the time I hear about how hard the computer is in this game.

1. The problem isn't the fact that people are using him, the problem is the fact that people only use him to get world Records with that specific vehicle. I mean, The guy has no flaws.
2. I would like you to send me your best time on a ghost race of you driving a CAR, I bet I can beat it easily by doing wheelies on a Motorcycle. If the wheelie didn't help that much, then everybody holding world records wouldn't be using a Motocycle.
3. I'm not telling Nintendo what their Stats Should be, I'm telling people (Who don't know) what their stats used to be and how they've changed over the years from the 2d and 3d games. Go back and play Super Mario Kart on SNES, then play any 3d Mario Kart and tell me what stats they didn't mess up. Don't get me wrong, All Mariokarts are fun and I've been playing them since the 1st one (That I still have). For that matter, pretty much any arcade racing game, the vehicles that start out slow, end up fast but can't turn good and the vehicles that start out fast end up slow but turn alot better. Yet on MK64, why is it that Yoshi and the Princess Start out the fastest, end up the fastest, and turn the best, while Bowser and DK Start out Slow, End up Slow, and turn the worst? That shouldn't be. That makes it to where noone will play with them. And taking that into equation, that's the reason people use Funky Kong on the Flame Runner so much, because he is fast (Whilst he doesn't start off fast unless a turbo start is done which is understandable), he turns excellently on the Flame Runner, and the Wheelies make that combination basically uncatchable, oh yeah, and he's a heavy character so he could easily knock the opponents out the way.
4. I take it by this comment as saying you don't have or have never played this game on the Wii? It's a Reason why I have 3 Stars on Every Stage of Every Cup of Every CC. The Computer isn't necessarily hard in this game, they just get whatever item is needed to keep you from 1st and boy once you're in 1st, they get annoying because it will 95% be a Blue shell coming for you, followed by a red shell, and a POW Block, and most likely a Lightning Bolt. I don't get 1st every time but I do get it a Majority of the time. I also have over 9000 VR Points online.
To avoid Flame Wars, PM Me if you need to debate this further. This thread isn't meant for that.

1.) There has to be a fastest character. End of story. Not all the characters can have the same stats, same can be said for SSBB. It's not like using Funky Kong while racing with others gives you a huge advantage. I use Yoshi on the Mach Bike and my online rating is a little over 8500.
2.) Yes, motorcycles are better with time trials. Unfortunately, most people don't buy MK for time trials. Once again, using a bike does not give you an advantage while racing with others. If you're racing with good players, they'll bump you once you try to wheelie, then you'll slow down to an incredibly slow pace, and get knocked by a few oncoming racers. A good player can beat a bike with a kart, end of story.
3.) This isn't a sports game, I don't care if the attributes are 100% accurate. Same thing happened with Brawl, every little kid screamed because Yoshi wasn't the best. I don't mind if they switch up the attributes from the last game or so, because good players can always utilize the strengths of their favorite character.
4.) The computer isn't hard, my comment was being sarcastic. People complain about the items all the time in grand prix. I think the items are great. If you're really good, you'll get so far ahead items won't even matter on some courses. If you do fall behind because of those cute blue little shells, the items usually allow you to bounce back up into the lead.
5.) Who's turning this into a flame war? All I'm saying is, if I agreed with you we'd both be wrong. Oh, and if this wasn't what the thread was for, you should of PMed me.
Oh, and c'mereee.
I own the game, but shhhhhh.
Don't tell anybody.
