I downloaded this thing just for the novelty of it, but quickly discovered it's a lot more fun than it first would seem. I actually spent more time designing Miis and browsing this channel than playing games on my Wii yesterday. It's incredible the Miis some people can create with the limited tools they're given. I've seen some pretty awesome Miis of Yoda, Gannondorf, John Lennon, and others.

I hate this channel, simply because it makes me realise how far people are willing to go, just for a little bit of recognition.

Almost all of the top mii's are copied from someone elses design.

I used to think the lack of Mii customization options was disappointing. But after seeing all the stuff people have done with them, I'm glad that the options are limited. It makes the accuarate ones that much more impressive. My favorite one is a bald head with a penguin on its face. I'm not sure what features they used to get the penguin on there, but it's hilarious. It wouldn't be nearly as impressive if you could just draw on your characters.

I think it's an ok channel. The only thing that bugs me is that it takes a while to get the results of a contest. The contest should be open for one day not a week. Or atleast hold more than one contest at a time.

Yep, there sure is. In fact, It's probably MY design, as it seems I'm one of the artists people like to steal so much from. Check out the link in my sig to see for youself. Oh well, I am finally gaining some recognition, being #19 on the U.S. top Mii Artisans List as of this writing. But still, the many of the very highest rated artisans are only up there because of artists such as myself and others, and I guess people don't mind taking credit for other peoples' work..

Of course I wasn't the first to design the charcters, HOWEVER, I WAS the first to create those characters with those specific designs. You can check the dates they were submitted if you don't believe me.

No, not at all. Its even more useless then everybody votes channel. I wish Nintendo would release some good channels that are worth downloading, like the internet channel. Im sick of these stupid channels thet arent worth the space of Wii blocks they take up.

Cool. I really appreciate it, and encourage you to support the rest of the original artists if you find a mii that you like. There are many others from miiplaza.net whose designs have been stolen, so keep your eyes open for names like "is!c", "Mr. Tip", "Autx", "Josean", and many others from the "profiled artists" section of Miiplaza.net.

Most of these people use that computer mii editing program which is cheap they are nowhere near as good as someone who designs good ones with the normal tools.

Since I started browsing the CMO channel I've seen about ten different identical Jack Blacks, Darth Vaders, and Venoms. It's understandable if a character is popular enough that lots of people make a Mii of him/her, but it's ridiculous for people to copy others' designs, and you can tell when they've done that when five different people post Miis that look exactly alike. Sure, it's a way to get people to download your Mii and boost your rank, but there's no satisfaction in it because you've just stolen someone else's work.

I wholeheartedly agree with you there, but I can understand if some people use it if they're not good with a camera or something. In my case, all I have to do is increase the exposure settings and mess with the focus a little bit. At least the new digital mii editor isn't as bad as that first Flash mii creator. I shudder even thinking of the ugly characters that program produced.

I was hooked on it for maybe the first 20 mins, then it got really boring
