i have my wii hooked up to my hdtv with the nintendo component cables and noticed that TP looked really choppy while smg looks pretty good. does any one else have problems with choppyness when the wii is set to edtv and using the component input? also on a side note my twillight princess doesnt respond when i hit the home, - or + buttons or when i shake the wiimote....is anyone elses game doing the same?

I've heard that the Wii looks bad when using standard componant cables on an HDTV. "Jaggies," I believe, is the term used to define curved lines that become filled with angles. As for your wiimote, sounds broken.
