Anyone else suddenly noticing that there's too many GOOD games for Wii coming?

So I know we've all discussed, myself included, how there doesn't seem to be a lot of "high quality" or AAA games for the Wii now or on a regular basis. But uh....I'm suddenly seeing that's not true. I have a good job and make good money and buy everything I want as far as games go (usually), but now there's suddenly too many for me too afford right away!

Resident Evil, Galaxy, Batallion Wars, Zack & Wiki, Medal of Honor, Soul Caliber Legends, Tomb Raider, DragonBall Z BT 3, The damn Zapper with Crossbow Training, Guitar Hero 3, Manhunt 2, Geometry Wars, Tony Hawk, Mario and Sonic, Rayman, Nitrobike, NiGHTS, and Godzilla.......all this crap is stuff that at least I want, (Not really crap :D ) and it's all THIS YEAR!! (that's 18 games btw)

I mean it's great but I can't afford that dammit lol. And Next year so far we have Brawl, No More Heroes, Final Fantasy, Endless Ocean, Sonic Riders....possibly....Sadness, Star Wars (!), Disaster....friggin MARIO KART!! It's kind of shocking really and I'm probably missing a few.

I guess we can't really complain about the lack of quality content anymore can we lol?

I agree, I've narrowed my choices down to these:

Mario & Sonic

SMG

SSBB

And possibly RR2. I may get some others, but that's all for now. It's so tough. ;_;

I hear ya. I must say, as a looong time fan of Rayman (since the original Playstation version blew me away), I must say that I was disappointed in Raving Rabids. But RR2 loos friggin rad all of a sudden! I'm surprised.

I'm getting about like. 5 of those.

I've only got a few for my Wii so far. I'd be much happier if these games would came out instead of always being in the future.

I'll have to agree with you with those games and those game and Okami is coming to the wii .

With Wii games, i find it very helpful to wait for reviews. Its exciting to hope all those games will be good, but somehow i think your wallets wont get hit so hard once the games come out.Videodogg

For my list at least, I don't really see any of those potentially being bad except for maybe Tony Hawk and Godzilla or Rayman. But I don't really see Rayman being bad this time around. I'm really just basing that off of how disappointed I was in the first one.

That's quite a few good games there to keep myself entertained but on top of that I'm picking up RE: Umbrella Chronciles with the Zapper and Link's Crossbow Training.

Yeah other than Galaxy and No More Hero's the Wii has nothing going for it as of the moment. Maybe this time next year there be more games that interest me..... come on SEGA, it's not too late to ditch that Tennis game and give us a new Panzer Dragoon:D Also I'm interested in seeing this new Franchise Nintendo is working on.

So.... this year kinda of disapointed but hey.... I've always been disapointed in year one for all of my consoles, I'm just one of those guys that get's sucked in by the hype and ends up buying Video Game consoles at launch ignoring my better judgement and my loved ones.

I've got games to buy for my PC too!

And with all those games there is also Virtual Console, and with Christmas they may dish out a big game or two.

Meh... I'm still waiting for the good games to actually BE on the Wii, not in the future. We're just like those crazy cows in System Wars, saying "just wait... you'll see!" all the time. Out of your list, only Mario Galaxy, BWii, Zack and Wiki (MAYBE... still not sure, because of replayability/game length), GH3, and Manhunt 2 have the potential to be great games this year, while next year they all look great. The rest.... well, I guess we'll see.

You are correct though... after almost a year of barely any games, most of us will probably be doubling our collection (lol, mine's only 5 at the moment, not counting Wii Sports, so it'll be easy for me) by the end of the year.

I'm really hoping Zack and Wiki will be good, but like I said, after hearing something on IGN I'm worried about the length, and I'm also worried about replayability, since once you learn the puzzles, what's the point of playing again? Hopefully my worries are unfounded! (It comes out next week!!!)

Uh actually only Guitar Hero, Tomb Raider, Manhunt, Sonic Riders, Star Wars, and Tony Hawk have ports out of that ENTIRE list. MoH's psp port is a different game in the technical department. So that's.... SIXgames out of 27! That's a damn good ratio and also no where in the same dimension of "half of those games are ports". It's all good :)

Of course not, and I'm not complaining. The point of the thread is because A) I got really excited and surprised at the same time and realized all of our complaining is now almost unfounded, and B) because it's going to cost me and many others a lot of money.

WTF??? Endless ocean was to the 29 Nov whats now....a LOT of wii games change the release date
