I agree, why would you sell it on a mobile smartphone with no physical buttons and worse gaming then a handheld. The 3DS is meant for games, the controls and graphics would make it that much more comfortable to play. If it was on the 3DS i would much rather have it over a smartphone game. Developers these days, if anyone was up for it I would make a petition, it seemed to help with Majora's Mask remake it's worth a try.
Nah, the MM petition hasn't done anything since, well there is no remake. Its funny, I want the remakes to stop already but everyone keeps throwing good ones at me! A Majora's Mask remake would probably be lost on the majority of the 3DS's audience since it plays differently than OOT. I'm not against it as a whole, and it's ironic that I want less remakes but the GTA3 remake just makes so much sense.I agree, why would you sell it on a mobile smartphone with no physical buttons and worse gaming then a handheld. cell phone games are cheap and easy to make a lot of companies have started embarrassing them do i care for them not really but i careless for gta3 and its better not to have the series on the 3dselbert_b_23Why not on 3DS? I'm sure it won't happen, but I can't see what it could hurt if it did come out on 3DS. Chinatown Wars was amazing and sold over 1.2 million copies. I'd call that a success, plus the game was one of the best GTAs

Is GTA multiplayer that enjoyable? I haven't had the chance to try it, myself.with online YES without ..... just a waste

Um, how? The 3DS has a 800Mhz ARM11 CPU, a 200Mhz GPU, and 128MB FCRAM. Don't iOS games only use like 20MB RAM from the iPhone? I'd think a port would be more than capable, especially since you're playing a lower resolution. If you want more details on the real specs of the 3DS's multi-core CPU instead of the fake specs leaked last year by IGN, check this outthey could do it but 3ds specs are kinda poopy

[QUOTE="AxMxH"]Is GTA multiplayer that enjoyable? I haven't had the chance to try it, myself. The only thing I enjoyed about GTA IV online was the races. These races were very samey though, with a first corner crash deciding the results for about 95% of all the races I participated in.with online YES without ..... just a waste

While no, it may not happenChinatown Wars sold horrible. Its not gonna happen

CW sold just fine. Unless you call 1.2 million units (and it sold BEST on the DS, better than on PSP or iOS) bad. Considering it likely netted T2 a healthy $30 million in profit, I doubt they'd call if failure even if it was a slow starter at retail

Well it hasn't done anything in a while, but considering Majora's Mask, it is much darker then OOT, but it doesn't play much differently, same mechanics, same engine. Also The Majora's Mask petition got Nintendo's attention and they said that a Majora's Mask remake is a great possibility due to the large fan base. That's pretty great, just because we haven't heard anything in a while doesn't mean it isn't helping.[QUOTE="elbert_b_23"]because gta is the most overrated series to ever come out of a american developerRaiko101Actually, it was a british developer, not American, called Rockstar North. brittish or not doesn't make it any less overrated
Love these "dream" threads. The fact is that Nintendo customers have a very large want list... the shame of it is that Nintendo rarely delivers.

It did the PS2 a world of favours in terms of console sales, it single handedly expanded the games market during that time and it has had, by far, the biggest influence on the games industry in past 10 years. No single game or series has done that since.

Well each game had a vastly different development cycle though, eh? I assume Chinatown Wars would have taken a lot less resources to build, and thus a lot cheaper. And I don't think they would expect a spin-off to sell as well as a main entry in the series.[QUOTE="LaytonsCat"][QUOTE="bonesawisready5"] While no, it may not happen
