I have to make sure the nunshucku is well attached to the wiimote because sometimes when I make a sudden move a pop up will appear saying: please plug in the nunshucku, and it would keep doing this, and I would have to keep pushing in the nunshucku tighter to the attachment, which is already inpretty tight, and jammed in there, but I still have issues.

I also want to add that I broke my first nunshucku out of anger, and this is my second nunshucku and after a while this started happening again.

 i have to say i never expected to read this word on gamespot, much less in this context O_o and it seems you're destroying your controllers. you make "sudden moves" that force the nunchuk's connector thingy and it starts to break, making it work worse and worse until you snap and decide to hammer it to oblivion.

If it's broken then it's internal because I did nothing wrong to that piece of junk. I was sold a defective item with an experation date again,it seems. Some games are worst than others, like Madden 07 for example is almost unplayble because of this problem. But newer games are mild in this issue but still annoying. Some games it doesn't happen at all or rarely.

How old is it? Nunchucks are pretty flimsy and don't seem to last more than a couple years if heavily used.

Maybe a year old now, has this happen to you before? Is this a common problem?

Try treating your nunchucks more lightly lol. Occasionally I've had that issue before too but it was never something constantly reoccurring.

I agree with the post above. Treat your conmtrolers more carefully. If the nunchuck is attached, make sure you pick both the wiimote and the nunchuck with your hands. The wire between them should never support any weight at all.

I have been having problems with my nunchuck too. However my problem is slightly different. A message won't pop up saying to plug it in, it just won't work. I'll try to move my character and nothing will happen. So I plug my other nunchuck into my remote and the same thing. I changed remotes and it works fine. It could possibly be the remote that is having problems I guess.

the problem could be in the wiimote. it sounds like you are too hard on your gear as you already broke one in a rage fit. don't rage at your equipment. that stuff costs money.

Yes my controller acts like that but I'm pretty sure its because my 2 year old smooshed a piece of caramel into the port the nunchuck plugs into.

Yeah, my Nunchuk's been in almost perfect condition for nearly 4 years now, so it's likely you're way too hard on it. Either that or you're buying cheap 3rd-party nunchuks.

No, the only reason I broke the first nunshucku was because I couldn't use it anymore. My second nunshucku is starting to act up like my first, and I HAVE been gentle to it. I've made sure of that. So it's not me.
